The town of Kemer is a popular holiday resort located on the southern coast of Turkey, just 40km from the city of Antalya. Known as the Turquoise Coast, this area draws tourists all year round thanks to its beaches and beautiful natural scenery Kemer sits between crystal clear blue waters and lush green mountains.

Kemer has a typically Mediterranean climate with plenty of sunshine and warm temperatures. The Taurus Mountains have an important influence on the climate, acting as a barrier from any cold winds and moderating the weather, so winters are never too cold.

In November, the short autumn season is coming to an end and winter is on its way. While many tourists may think to avoid the resort at this time of year, Kemer still has plenty to offer visitors.

Average temperatures are still more than pleasant at this time of year, hovering around 15°C while highs can soar to 20°C which can feel like summer has never left. Nights do get a little chilly at this time of year, so holiday makers should make sure to pack some warmer layers to wear on an evening. Average low temperatures are around 9°C at this time of year.

The water around Kemer is cooling significantly in November, but with an average sea temperature of 21°C, some still find it warm enough for swimming.

Kemer offers an abundance of sunshine all year round and November is no different. Tourists can expect 8 bright and sunny hours every day, which is plenty of time to enjoy the outdoor attractions in the region. There's a 36% chance of a sunny day.

One of the only downfalls of visiting the resort in November is that rainfall increases quite significantly. From just 65mm in October, November sees 115mm of rain, which falls over an average of 8 wet days. There's a 25% chance of a rainy day.

Despite this, with comfortable temperatures and less crowds of tourists, some consider November an ideal time to visit Kemer.

November is considered off peak season in Kemer, but many of the resort's hotels and apartments remain open for holiday makers to enjoy.

To add to the atmosphere, the hotel serves organic Dutch and Ottoman cuisine in its restaurant. A great choice for families and couples alike.
