There is a courtyard with a swimming pool with lounge chair access. Breakfast is included and served on the terrace. With only 8 rooms, this hotel feels more like a home. 

Faro Beach for November 

If you are looking for a great day trip, head to Praia do Martinhal. Located near Sagres in the Bay of Baleeira, this small beach is great for exploring. With close access to Costa Vicentina Natural Park, this is a must visit. Due to the unique species of animals and plants, this area is visited by zoologists and botanists from all over the world. This area is also home to the cliff tops which are thought to have been the site of Henry the Navigator's famous school of navigation, Vila do Infante. There are also limestone islets near the beach which have underwater grottoes to explore. The water itself is calm and great for windsurfing, diving, and surfing, although the average sea temperature drops to 20°C (68°F) in November.

Bars and Restaurants 

If you are missing cuisine from back home, make a stop at Birds Nest Restaurant. This gem, located in Boliqueime, is run by James & Rita Osborne who have years of experience in hospitality in the UK and Ireland. It is a very comfortable restaurant where children are welcome. The food is focused on using local produce and 90% of the food served is made in house. Some items you may find include a filet steak, rack of lamb, and spicy gambas & chorizo salad.

Those looking for five star dining should head to Restaurante Dom Carlos in Albufeira. Great for a romantic night out or special occasions. The head chef comes out to personally describe the 5 course menu to you as it changes daily. Each course has 2 options and costs 49. It has been known to include tomato basil soup, lamb salad, black Iberian pork, and carrot cake for dessert. Be sure to call ahead as this place fills fast.

Things to do in Faro in November 

November is a great time of the year to get your diving certification in Faro. UDIVING provides options for the whole family. Children as young as 8 can experience Bubblemaker which provides scuba gear to breathe underwater and swim in shallow water. There are courses to get your PADI certification, as well as advanced courses to test your skills. This 5 star diving centre provides you with everything needed to become a diver.

A fun option for adrenaline junkies and nature lovers is Bulldog Buggies and is located in nearby Silves. Bulldog Buggies offers guided tours on 500cc all-terrain buggies. You go through trails, riverbeds, and the woods seeing panoramic views, wildlife, and beautiful scenery along the way. Drivers must be 21 or over and have a valid driving license. Prices are 95 per buggy (passenger free).
