Camel Wrestling Festival 👥
In Antalya's Demre district (formerly Kale), a 100 colourfully decorated bull camels are paraded through the villages by their owners. When ready, a cow camel gets the bulls excited over mating rights and the males start butting and wrestling one another. Though frowned upon by animal supporters, the event is defended by many, said to be more for comic relief than a blood sport.
