The Municipal Museum of Tavira is a great cool day activity in October. There, you can learn about the history of Tavira and the surrounding towns in the Algarve province. You'll explore the culture, religions, commerce, and past of the area in a number of different exhibits. The museum houses various artefacts, artwork, and other historical pieces. It's open all year round, Tuesday through Saturday.
