The highest recorded temperature for this time of the year was a very hot 30°C (around 86°F). This area also saw a low of 1°C (about 34°F), just above freezing and very unusual for this month.

The ocean water is only 17°C (about 63°F) but thanks to the warm outside air, it'll feel warmer.

    Sitting right on the shore, across from the salt pans and the Atlantic Ocean, Restaurante Pedro gives guests a treat with fresh seafood right from the ocean. Chow down on crawfish boil, lobster claws, grilled tuna steaks, and salmon. You can dine in the light and airy interior dining room or head outside to the patio and enjoy your meal and views of the boats and the water. It's open late for those late-night cravings and the restaurant also accepts reservations so you can be sure you get a table.

    Ideal for families wanting an affordable and casual option, Xicken PiriPiri has indoor dining, as well as an outdoor patio. Parents will enjoy the children's menu and the kids' playground so the kids can burn off some energy in-between bites of yummy chicken, pork, and fish.
