it was absolutely freezing we took plenty of shorts expecting warm weather had to go and buy lots of winter woolies but had a smashing time shopping for the warmer clothes.

it was fantastic loved everything about the place we was on the go from morning to night the whole family was thoughly entertained our party consisted of 3 adults and 4 children ages from 6 years old to 55 18 days with no complaints from anybody.

where do i start ,there is so much to choose from firstly i would recommend discovery cove then the magic kingdom for the young ones seaworld islands of adventure bushe gardens the list goes on and on the entertainment is endless.

We loved every minute of it.
We liked it so much that we are going there again this year for a month in december.

Discovery cove is a must and the kids liked aquatica.

My family and I have been to Florida about 12 times, primarily during the months of July, August and September and the weather on the whole is beautiful. You have to expect some rain in the afternoon but it does not last long.

Our holidays in Florida are the best. The first thing my husband says when he gets off the plane is we're home again.
Places Recommended
I recommend that if you want to see a really nice place then take a trip to Naples if possible. Also if you're staying around the Old Town you need to visit Logans Steakhouse, the best steak around!

Weather in October was very warm, without the humidity. Some locals were complaining it was a little cold for the month, but (we Brits) thought it was glorious. However, since our summers consist of warm rain, maybe we're easily pleased

Visited Orlando for Disney/Universal. Holiday itself was amazing. Two weeks isn't near enough time! We stayed at Disney's Port Orleans FQ, which was fantastic. We also had the dining plan, which saved us a ton of money. However, I did find that we were planning our whole holiday around breakfast/dinner reservations. Thus, next time I think I'd give it a miss. Also, the choice for kids meals is appalling. We ate at a couple of high-end restaurants and even they had the same choices - mac&cheese, hot dogs, pizza - that's about it.
The American people were polite, courteous and, well, very much like ourselves.
I could tell there was so much more to do beyond the parks. However, this was the purpose of our visit. I'd love to explore more in the future and would definitely recommend Orlando as a must see place.

I found the Disney parks to be a bit disappointing, although I enjoyed the time I spent in them. Loved Discovery Cove - would never pay for the dolphin swim again though, as it wasn't so much a swim as being dragged along for 5 seconds on the dolphin's dorsal fin - that was it. Also, the guilt of seeing just how small a pool all of the dolphins live in left me feeling awful.
However, Universal's IOA was absolutely awesome - I wanted to live there! The rides, the layout of the place, and best of all The Wizarding World of Harry Potter. The Forbidden Journey ride was amazing, as was the butterbeer!

We went to Florida for the first time in April 16th-30th 2011 and the weather was just perfect. The sun shone from morning til night with beautiful sunsets. It rained once for about one hour on our way back from a park, late afternoon and that was the only rain we had, as soon as it hit the ground, it disappeared with the heat. We stayed in Davenport in our own villa near Champion's Gate, with a great Chiili's restaurant nearby and Publix on doorstep for all your needs.

Our holiday was what dreams are made of; everyone kept telling us before we booked what a fantastic a place it is, but you cant explain to anyone just how amazing it really is. You have to go and experience this place at least once in your lifetime! It was incredible: everyday spent at different parks; every ride/experience blew our minds; the American people so friendly and helpful; food delicious; just an amazing place. We are going back again in 2013 and are counting the weeks away!

We really enjoyed all the parks: Universal Studios/Islands of Adventure and all Disney parks amazing; especially enjoyed the water parks- really relaxed on these days. Chilli's restaurant very good and Perkins do a fantastic breakfast to set you up for the day.

We have been in November, May, July and this year we are going again from June 29th to July 13th.
The weather has always been wonderful, we have had rain but it was welcome and only lasted for I hour if that.
The hottest we have seen was 110 according to our temp gauge by the pool.

We are a family of 4 and have been to Florida 3 times in Nov, May, and July and are going again this June.
We love it and cant wait to relax by the pool.
Name something you want on your holiday and Orlando or KIssimmee has it, unless you want snow but I bet they have that some place too.
Applebees-5 *, Sizzlers-4* and Red Lobster-3/4* and are fantastic places to eat as is the jewel in our crown Olive Garden 5* .

Go any place you want all have the wow factor. And the food is amazing. The people are great and driving around is just fine, just take your time at first .

3rd visit in October and as usual it was superb. Cloudless skies every day, no rain whatsoever for whole holiday. Temperatures hovering between 75 and 90 daytimes and around 60s at night.

So, so much to cram in especially if you are a park hopper. We always space out our holiday doing a park every other day taking in water parks, Cape Kennedy and a couple of days lazing by the villa pool if we can.Everyone always returns happy if not sad it's over.

I have been to Orlando three times during the month of Febrauary and can honestly say that there is no definative guarantee what the weather will be like.
In 2006 i was welcomed by 4 days of freezing cold temperatures followed by 10 days of temperatures in the early 80s!
February 2008 I was a particularly pleasant experience. I was lucky to find 10 days of wall to wall sunshine and temperatures in the early 80s.
My 2010 experience was quite the reverse.Arriving on the 5th I enjoyed one solitary day of late 70s heat, 2 wash out days of rain and 11 days of freezing cold temperatures even though there was hardly a cloud in the sky.
So basically you can be lucky or unlucky in February, you take your chance with the weather.

It was spoilt by the cold weather but there was still enough to make it a good holiday overall. So many places to visit and if you wrap up the parks are relatively empty especially early February.

I have been 3 times, and the weather has always been great but the humidity takes some getting used to. I have been in July, October and May and I should say it is cooler in October. I've been to
Sharm El Sheikh this year too and I didnt enjoy that at all.

Orlando and I would live there if I could. The
American people were so hospitable. Everywhere was spotlessly clean. We have stayed in both Hotels and Villas and they were all very good and clean.

The temperature was reaching 80-90 everyday.
There were only two thuderstorms during our two weeks there, the storms are short lasting anyway.
Weather was lovely in the evenings, humid but dry at times.

The villa was perfect, Always book your villa privatly, then you get exactly what you want. For example, South facing pool, games room, internet access etc. Have had a villa at Westridge and Hampton Lakes,
Davenport.
The flight with Virgin Atlantic had no problems.

Sanford as 1st time we went an we flew to
Orlando and it takes sooo long to get out after departing the plane.
Sanford is a great little airport so no messing around. Holiday great as usual swam with the sharks and dolphins, in my opinion you need to hire a car to see all of the other great sites like the great beaches. All parks amazing especially busch with the rides and the zoo it is great fun.

It was very hot the first 10 days. it was up to 99 deg. each day, it was very humid. There were also a lot of storms during the last four days of the holiday which was still very hot.
Nightime in June is very humid and dry.

Very busy as usual, excellent flight with virgin, I would not fly with anybody else.
Sanford was too far out with other airlines!!
Spent only 15 mins in
Orlando airportthen we were into the hire car and off to villa.
The villa was not the best we have had, but it did the job.
The parks were packed (
US holiday time) Try to avoid June/July. The best times to visit if you can are April/May or Sept/Oct.

Universal parks, harry potter world if you fly with virgin avoid 5 hour waiting time to enter.
Disney parks, especially water parks.
Avoid busch gardens have better zoo there is nothing good to say about this place.

We went over to
Orlando in September 2009.
It was a fantastic time, there were about 80 of us. The weather was great, a little rain but most of the time it was great.
We went and did all the parks, the youngest kid being 12 at that time and the oldest 'kid' being 62. A fantastic time had by all.
Booked to go again in June 2011. We had a villa in
Davenport, excellent family accomodation and our very own pool.
Holiday
The villa we stayed in belonged to a friend who lives in
Glasgow and we booked it from her. A beautiful 3 bedroom with 2 en-suite bathrooms and a kids room all with TV's and cable.
We hired a car and went roaming around in the car, all I can say is FAB, an excellent place to go.

The weather has been awful. Raining most days and so cold, it's like being back in
Britain. Most days have been just above freezing, with a really chilly wind.

Hotel was lovely but weather made it too cold to go anywhere or have fun at the theme parks.
Been wearing my winter coat, hat and two scarves! Spent lots of money for this 2 week holiday but will not return to
Florida again. The weather is so temperamental - unless you visit in the summer months (when everything's mega busy). Going to spend my next holiday money on somewhere with guaranteed sunshine.

Weather was brilliant as usual - just a few showers on some of the days but otherwise hot, hot, hot and sunny, just the way we like it!

We stayed in a beautiful villa at Crescent Lakes which is only 15 mins from the theme parks and nice and peaceful and quiet for rest and relaxation in between being 'parked out'!
We had our own pool and jacuzzi spa as well as every amenity anyone could wish for in a villa, including a games room with a widescreen dedicated TV for the Wii or PS2.
We had breakfast in every day and then went out either shopping, seeing new places, going to theme parks, etc.
We ate lunch out and also dinner every day - no cooking on holiday despitel all those facilities back at the villa.

Unusual ones locally are Reedy Creek Nature Reserve where you can walk amonst acres of wildlife.
Or Horse World Riding Stables for a trail ride. Anyone can ride there, from beginners to experienced.
Or a Boggy Creek Airboats location to tempt you also.

The hotel itself was alright.
Staff weren't that great.
Restaurant I didn't enjoy.
Had a few relaxing days at the pool which was nice although a small pool area.
All in all hotel was good value for money.
Holiday was fantastic - did all the Flex-ticket parks except from Wet n Wild as I heard this was a bit run down.
Went to Disney's Animal Kingdom, Magic Kingdom (twice) and Hollywood Studios (twice).
Much prefer the Disney Parks though as there is a better atmosphere and more to do.
Went to
Florida Mall, Millenia Mall and Premium Outlets. All were fantastic.
I was a lone traveller so I saw so much and had so much to do.
Was never once bored.

Orlando has some really nice restaurants and I would thoroughly recommend The Oceanaire fish restaurant. Great food and service!

We stayed in a villa on Solana resort.. 10 mins away from Disneyworld and only 25 mins from Universal Studios
Virgin Atlantic flights were fab, great food, great entertainment and friendly and helpful cabin crew.
Cant wait to go again!!
Would definatley recommend staying for 3 weeks, we could have stayed even longer.

It was the best most magical holiday we ever had people tell you about it but you never know till you go yourself. Stayed at the Quality Inn Plaza on International Drive read mixed reviews but we where very happy there.
Loved all aspects of Disney , Magic Kingdom was our fav ,Universal was fab.
Water parks great , and had some nice relaxing hours
by the pool with towels supplied.

Went back to Universal for the Halloween thing.
If you get the chance, defo worth a visit.

We had a few solid days of rain thanks to tropical storm Faye. We went to Animal Kingdom on one of those days and it felt like we had the park to ourselves! When not raining it was glorious sunshine, hot and humid.

Orlando was fantastic from start to finish. We booked through Thomson and the flights went without a hitch (apart from dodgy inflight meals). The villa was gorgeous and spacious with own pool, a real pleasant suprise and only 25 mins from Disney if that. There was so
much to do we wish we could have gone for 3 weeks instead of 2. We had a 7day disney pass and a 3 day universal so we utilised that and tried to fit other things in when we had a chance.

Disney of of course, try and stay for night shows especially Fantasmic and Wishes fireworks. We made reservations at chef Mikey's and got to dine with the characters which our 3 and 6yr olds loved. Foodwise we preffered Bob Evans and Cracker Barrel as they had a bit of charm as well as good food.

The weather was very hot, very humid and very muggy for a lot of the week. We had two hurricanes come over us while we were away *tropical Storm Hana and also Hurricane Ike - neither of them were a problem and we went to waterparks on the days they came over - which left the parks empty. It was a wonderful break from the sun when the rain came.

The holiday itself was incredable. Definetly bring children next time, but for a couple celebrating their anniversary it was still great fun being made a fuss of by everyone and meeting the characters. We visited all the parks in 2 weeks, but would defintly reccoment 3 weeks, get some breaks in too - otherwise you'll be in pain parking it out everyday!

Definetly Disney and Discovery Cove. Discovery Cove is all inclusive and have some amazing animal exhibits - including the aviary.

We went on 20th July - 3rd Aug 08 and the weather was great. very hot, sometimes up to 101degrees. There were more storms than we were used to getting and some of them lasted for a few hours. This did not spoil our holiday though as the rain is sometimes a welcomed thing!

Florida independently and this year decided to book via Travel City Direct. The whole experience was not good. Poor service on flights, poor standard of accommodation (which was at Calabay Parc on Tower Lake and 45 minutes away from parks), we had to upgrade the car to allow us to get the luggage in....etc etc. So needless to say the holiday was not as good as expected
