    Hawaii Weather for July 2021

What's the weather like in July in Hawaii

The summer weather continues in Hawaii in July, offering plenty of sun for everyone.

As July is also the month of the American July 4th celebrations and the end of the school year in America, this is a very popular time to visit the region, but there's still ample space for everyone.

Average temperatures in July are a very warm 26°C, with daily highs usually reaching up to 28°C. This is just one degree lower than the hottest months of August and September, which usually achieve daily peak temperatures of approximately 29°C.

In 2004, the climate reached the highest temperature recorded in July at 33°C. And while sun protection is always required during such periods, the very common Trade Winds will ensure the climate remains tolerable.

When the Trade Winds do decline, the Hawaiian Islands can be considerably more humid, lending the area to the risk of a hurricane. However it has been over 14 years since the last significant hurricane was registered in the region, ensuring no visit should be spoilt by the weather.

During the dry season, rain is never really an issue in Hawaii. Any rain that does fall will usually come down at night. And it is far more common for the precipitation to fall in the rain forest areas on the islands or on the north or east side.

On average, only 57mm of rain will fall at this time of the year, over approximately 22 days, so that any rain that does fall is likely to be only in the form of a short shower. Conversely, July is the brightest month of the year in Hawaii, offering more daily sunshine hours than at any other time of the year.

The quality and range of facilities, idyllic location and welcoming atmosphere ensure this luxury holiday resort is always popular. Though the resort is by no means one of the biggest on Maui, it offers a very personal service which is second to none. The pool area is a beautiful feature day and night, with original cabanas offering the perfect location to have a drink and watch the sunset. Hawaii Beaches in July

For a quieter destination on Maui, Napali Beach is always worth a try. Though no beach is likely to be completely empty in July in Hawaii, the softer waves and more subtle amenities mean Napali always seems to have room for a few more visitors. The reefs are closer to the shore here which means there is always the chance of seeing some turtles. And for those that like to snorkel, it is a beautiful spot. As the beach is small and in a cove, there are no lifeguard patrols here. But for those that want their days a little more laid back, it could be the perfect place to be.

When on Oahu and looking for a nice, clean beach, take a trip to Lanikai Beach in Kailua. This residential beach doesn't have all the facilities of the more popular locations, but that also means there is always plenty of space on the sand. In July the ocean should be very calm offering a picture perfect view both above and below the water. But be sure to take everything you need with you. With no shops or toilets in the local vicinity, you will have to take care of yourself.

But whether you taste the pancakes, the pork Loco Moco or opt for something sweet, the portions are huge, the flavours are incredible and every meal here is a treat to behold.

July on Lanai is the time for the annual Pineapple festival. There are even late night ferries put on to take all the party goers back to their respective islands. It's a fabulous event and everyone is invited to join in.

For those that want to take the pace of life a little slower, take a visit to Wai'anapanapa State Park on Maui.
