What's the weather like in Fethiye in July
The average low temperature in July is 24°C, while the average high is a whopping 33°C. Both those average low and high temperatures remain virtually constant throughout the month. July is the warmest month of the year in the resortuly 15 is, in fact, the warmest day of the entire year.
Rainfall is extremely rare in July with only 3 days of rain on average and merely 10mm of rainfall in total. July is without question one of the driest months of the year. In the evening, you can enjoy performances in the amphitheatre or disco. All facilities you could wish for are present, including three pools, a children's pool, a sun terrace, various sports facilities, a water sports centre right next to the beach, several restaurants, a poolside bar, lobby bar and lounge bar, a TV and games room, and a hair and beauty salon.
Bordeaux Beaches for July
One great place to experience the weather and sun is at the main beach, Calis. Calis Beach lies just north of Fethiye. This beach lined with palm trees stretches the peninsula and is close to several restaurants, shops and hotels. It is a lively, friendly beach where you find tourists and locals alike.
Another great place to experience the warm water is The Dead Sea (the blue lagoon), named lüdeniz.
Bars and Restaurants
Situated in the heart of the resort, on the edge of historic Paspatur, Megri Restaurant has been a favorite dining venue among locals and tourists alike for many years. This so-called Lokanta-style restaurant serves numerous vegetarian dishes, but also one of the best traditional lamb kebabs around.
King Garden Restaurant
Arguably one of the greatest eating venues in Fethiye, the Kings Garden Restaurant sits right beneath the spectacular Lycian Rock Tombs and overlooks the town and the sea and islands beyond. The indoor and outdoor seating areas make that this is a popular place all-year round. While the views are incredible, the food is great as well. The menu focuses on traditional cuisine, such as Ottoman and Turkish dishes. If you reserve a table in advance, the restaurant will pick you up and drop you off at your hotel.
Things to do in Fethiye in July
One of the most popular places in Europe to go paragliding is Fethiye. If you are looking for an adventure, paragliding is the perfect activity. In Fethiye, you will begin your paragliding adventure at the top of a mountain, Babadag. Your paragliding trip will end on the beach. Even if you have never paraglided before, you can learn how by taking advantage of all the schools and training centres in the area.
When the days get darker and the temperature starts to come down you will want to take advantage of the beautiful sunsets that Fethiye is known for. Luckily, there are many great places to view these famous sunsets.
In addition to these activities, Fethiye is home to daily shows where the locals can be found. To see these shows, and experience Fethiye as its citizens experience it, you can take a stroll down the promenade where you will also find many cafes to grab some food or a couple of drinks.
