Walt Disney World Orlando is the most visited entertainment complex in the world, located in Lake Buena Vista, Florida. The resort is made up of four theme parks; Magic Kingdom Park, Epcot, Disney's Hollywood Studios, Disney's Animal Kingdom, and two water parks including Disney's Blizzard Beach and Disney's Typhoon Lagoon.
There's a diverse range of accommodation at Disney World mainly catering for family holidays but there are also some cheaper boutique hotels on the outskirts of the resort.
The main resort includes many themed hotels such as Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge and Disney's All-Star Movies Resort which feature your children's favourite characters from the blockbuster movies and famous TV shows.
Disney World is renowned as quite an expensive location to stay at; however there are still plenty of low cost accommodation options in the resort and the surrounding area.
If you want to stay in an environmentally friendly hotel look no further than Holiday Inn Lake Buena Vista Downtown. This hotel has just received a $35 million makeover and is conveniently located in the Walt Disney World Resort, within walking distance to the Downtown area. Also situated inside the resort is Hilton Orlando Lake Buena Vista which features a Disney character breakfast on Sundays.
Another option is Hampton Inn & Suites, which is located just one mile away from the Orlando International Airport and only minutes away from Disney World and Sea World. Or there's Days Inn Orlando Convention Centre Hotel which is under half an hours' drive away from the resort and features a gym and outdoor swimming pool. Or you could stay at the Travelodge Inn and Suites, located next to the Highway 482. This hotel is close to the Disney World Resort and Universal Orlando Resort or if you would rather spend the day relaxing there's an outdoor pool and hot tub on site.
There's a wide range of villas or apartments that can be rented out near Disney World whilst you are staying in Florida, but there are also a few options in the resort.
If you're into camping why not try the Fort Wilderness Resort, huddled in 750 acres of lush pine forests and Cyprus trees. On site there's a grocery store so you can always keep fully stocked, but if you get fed up of cooking for yourself there's also several restaurants on site including Crockett's Tavern and Trail's End Restaurant.
The Villas at Disney's Wilderness Lodge offer more luxurious self-catering accommodation also on the resort grounds. Spend the day relaxing by one of the two swimming pools or sunbathe on the golden-sand beach. A lot of the Disney World hotels include packages that include food credits and discounts but there are also a few all-inclusive options around the Disney World resort.
The Caribe Resort consists of the Caribe Royale all-suite hotel and the Buena Vista Suites. Various packages are offered at these hotels which include shuttles to the amusement parks, Disney Magic Your Way tickets and credits for food and beverages.
Or there's the Sheraton Vistana Resort which includes many facilities such as massage treatments and a whirlpool. Also, for the children there's an SPG Kid's all-inclusive dining pass and there's packages which include credit discounts at particular resorts.

Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge is inspired by authentic African architecture and can be found amidst a 43-acre savannah containing over 30 species of wildlife. Disney's Saratoga Spring Resorts & Spa is a Victorian-style villa resort found on the shores of the Village Lake. There are a vast amount of recreational activities situated here around the 65-acre grounds including jogging trails, tennis courts and bike rentals.

There a few bed and breakfast options around the Disney World resort which are a lot cheaper than staying in a holiday complex.
Within five miles of Walt Disney World is Perri House Bed and Breakfast, this cosy little B&B is also nearby to Grand Cypress Golf Course and Disney's Osprey Ridge Golf Course. Another place to stay it as it the charismatic Edgewater Hotel located just 19 miles away from Orlando International Airport. This boutique hotel offers traditional 1920's rooms and continental free breakfasts.
Near the airport
Crowne Plaza Orlando is situated just four miles from Orlando Executive Airport and 13 miles away from Orlando International Airport. Courtyard Marriott is located in Magnolia Avenue and is one of the closest hotels you will find to Orlando Executive Airport, which is just a short drive away. Whilst Hampton Inn & Suites is only one mile away from Orlando International Airport and is close to many of the main attractions in the area including Disney World, Universal Studios and Sea World.
