Festes del Pa Bene

Couples wear traditional costumes and together they bless a coca (special cake), which is decorated with carnations. The festival lasts for a week and everyday there will be processions sponsored by the communities. Mare de deu del Carme
The feast day of the patron saint of sailors Mare de deu del Carme is celebrated every July 16 with maritime processions and the image of the Virgin is loaded on a boat that traverses the sea along the coastal communities. This festival is popular in the fishing towns of Cambrils and Sant Carles de la Rapita where the procession starts at sunset and the sky will be lighted with fireworks.
