What's the weather like in Costa Dorada in November?

Temperatures both on land and sea begin fall off during the month of November as winter is just around the corner. Additionally, sunshine hours are lower than the previous months, but there is still plenty of time to explore the great outdoors and the activities around Costa Dorada.

Temperature

Things to do in Costa Dorada in November

Chestnut Month

With cooler weather on the way, November is known as the chestnut month in Costa Dorada. People in the region eat the delicious baked chestnuts, panellets (sweets made with coconuts, almonds and pinions) and moniatos or sweet potatoes. These comfort foods are highly appreciated and sought for especially now that winter is on its way. 

All Souls Day

Aside from the chestnuts, this is the time of year to remember departed loved ones and visit them in the cemeteries. On All Souls Day, people flock to the cemeteries bringing flowers and lighting candles over the graves.

Museo Moli de las Tres Eles

Cambrils' existence is said to date back to prehistoric times but it was only during the Roman colonization that the town began to progress.  Today, much of the remnants from these periods can still be seen around Cambrils. The Museo Moli de las Tres Eles (The Three Era Mill Museum) contain archaeological findings from the 13th century.  It also has a hydraulic functioning mill. 

La Mere de deu del Cami Hermitage

The building of La Mare de deu del Cami Hermitage was built in the 18th century and is a combination of impressive architectural styles.  The Mas d'en Bosch Church goes as far back as the 15th century and was actually made from the remains of two churches sacked by pirates. Feel the Roman era by visiting La Llosa Roman Village where you can walk among the ruins.  This significant archaeological site dates back to between 1st century BC and 4th century AD.
