Carnival de Sitges
The Carnival de Sitges is perhaps one of the most famous carnivals in Catalonia. The carnival celebration actually starts before Ash Wednesday. Forty days prior to Lent came the days of indulgence or the carnival season. In the Sitges Carnival, there will be floats, costumes, parades, folk dances and fireworks. Aside from the sights, food will also be in abundance since the days of indulgence is also a period of gastronomy.
