Arrived March 21st weather was beautiful for the entire week...it was hot!

Vacation was perfect. Rooms were clean and the food was great-a good variety for all. Lots of pool entertainment and staff were very friendly and accommodating. Will definitely return to this resort!!

Took a cab into town to shop at the markets, which was fun. Also, did a 2 hour bus tour learning about Cuban history.

Every single day on our vacation was beautiful. Nice and sunny each and everyday. Perfect weather to tan, nice tropical breeze each afternoon.

Love Cuba! This was our second time there and we will return every year we are able.

The people are so nice, we feel like Cuba is our second home. Very safe place; clean beautiful beaches; the best lobster and crab you can ask for. Everyone there is very accommodating and helpful - everyone is treated like family. The first time there we got engaged and married! My husband travelled to Cardenas to purchase our marriage rings. It was like a fairy tale wedding!

We also took the double decker bus tour both years: it travels all around the Island- beautiful, beautiful!

The holiday was great I went in 2010 & 2011 will be going back this year staff was great the food,hotel and every thig was great stayed at the Blau Varadero Hotel love it there staying there again

Weather has always been good.

It beats snow.

Sun and a nice breeze off the ocean, what more could you ask for?

Fantastic, have stayed at the Barlovento twice and the Palma Real twice.

Relaxing; we spend most of our time on the beach.

Both these resorts are within walking distance to town.

Barlovento is also within walking distance to the biggest market.

Always take the double decker bus for a tour of Varadero.

Love walking into town; you see more when walking.

My famly have visited Varadero for the past 6 years and wouldn't go anywhere else.

The people and the weather are beautiful.

We have visited Cuban homes; they may not have much but they are happy.

Relaxing, people couldn't do enough for you.

Worth every penny.

Expensive to get out there but so cheap when you are staying all inclusive.

We visited Havana, swam with dolphins, sailed on a catamaran to Coco Beach and ate fresh lobster.

Weather

The weather was excellent from arrival untill departure. It was hot and sunny every day. The hotel rooms were air conditioned, but some public areas were not, and this was uncomfortable at times.

Holiday

We were a group of 10 adults, and we stayed at the Palma Real Hotel.

It is ideally placed, a short walk to the beach with several pools, bars and eating facilities on site. Food and drinks also available in an all inclusive package at the beach. The food was varied and there was always something to suit everyone. The staff were excellent and we would definately stay here again.

I was put off going on tours for one reason, I know this is a poor country, but the amount of begging and trying to get one over on you for financial gain was awful. I'd advise anyone going to ensure that they have plenty of small change for tips when ever leaving their complex, you'll need it in abundance

We traveled June 9 2006 and the weather started out windy and rainy for the first two days.
We were disappointed at first and after that we experienced hot sunny weather for the rest of the week.

Holiday

We stayed at a beautiful hotel Melia Las Americas. It was right on the beach.

The beach was beautiful, very clean, soft sand, clear water.
The beach is patrolled by security.

The food and drinks were very good and we enjoyed ourselves immensely.

There was evening music and entertainment shows.

You must bring mosquito spray as mosquitos were bad at night. The spray is very expensive to buy in Varadero.

The staff at the hotel was very friendly and helpful.
