The weather was fantastic, lots of sun and very warm! From early morning through to late afternoon it was gorgeous! We had only 2 light showers and a 4hour storm the whole 2 weeks!
Holiday
Our holiday was the best! Relaxing and very enjoyable. We stayed in Puerto Plata Village resort and it was great. The staff were very attentive and friendly, the complex was spotless, the rooms were comfortable and clean and the food was plenty- something for everyone.

We went to Ocean World - Awesome! We also went on the Monster truck - amazing both well worth it!

Rained a week into the holiday for a few days on and off, very tropical rain (heavy and fast but very warm). Cloudy some days but when the clouds moved it was very sunny!
Holiday
If it wasn't for the bed bugs and the locals coming too the resort every weekend and ruining it for the holiday makers it would have been a lot better! Overall an average holiday
Places Recommended
Oceon World in Puerto Plata and the dolphin and sealion encounter was very worthwhile! They also come and pick you up and drop you back too the hotel.

Hot and very humid.
Rained twice in a week for about 10 mins.
Mossies had a field day.
Take a very high factor sun cream, pleanty of after sun and mossy repellant you will need all 3.
Holiday
Holiday was not as expected, resort was more for children than adults.
Nothing to do for adults at night. No adult bars away from children.
All in all Butlins with sun.

Good but a bit rainy but hot anyway.
The weather in DR is always good whatever time of year you go.
A little rain never spoils your holiday because although it rains it is still very hot.

I have been to the DR 22 times now and its the best holiday location i have ever visited.
