Weather

The weather was lovely, just right not to hot and did not rain.
Some time's we needed a cardigan in the evenings but beside that it was very nice to be able to stroll around in the evening stopping here and there for coffee or some times something a little stronger.

Holiday

We stayed at the Interpalace Hotel by blue sea.
Though the place itself needed a lot of T.L.C. we were treated with respect and consideration for the whole of the two weeks we were there.
The food was nice and the variety was good.
We always say treat people how you wish to be treated.
Puerto de la cruz is a more quieter part of Tenerife, but caters for all ages.

Places Recommended

There are numerous places to visit like the Lido down on the front of the shopping centre, the Botanical gardens, also Loro Parque.
Go and try and see for yourself what a wonderful place, Puerto De la Cruz is.
La Orotava, is very pretty with beautiful buildings.
The Municipal Shopping centre is not to be missed and is open from 8am toll 2pm. Sometimes there is a boot sale there as well.

4 weeks and no rain at all.Early in the morning clouds and then about 8.30-9-3- full sun again.In the evening clouds 9very good for sightseeing in the town0 and the next day again as usual !.temperature from 21 till 29 Celsius in shadow.

Holiday

I could recommend very many places,comnpletly unknown to "normal" tourist.
But try to find Monasterio and it gardens in Los Realejos in Orotava valley,then Gordejuela at San Pedro Mirador.
Mirador Donb Pompeyo near Buenavista del Norte and the way to Lighthouse in

Punta del teno.Playa Bollulo near Puerto and Rincon and Playa Teresita in Santa Cruz of course.Avoid South of Tenerife;it's trap for tourists,only one-time adwenture.Only North of the island.

Lovely warm sunny days in January, I think we just had a short shower during one evening.

Holiday

We stayed with friends who live in Puerto during the winter months. We had an interesting break, exploring some lovely unspoilt areas and really loved Puerto, which is clean and friendly and so alive with character, lovely eating places, shops and the market, plus the wonderful lido area. There are some great hotels, the English church and the English library, truly a wonderful place to visit for those who do not want Watneys Red barrell and fish and chips on their holiday.

Places Recommended

La Oratava an old town in the hills easily accessible by the local bus.

The Magnolia restaurant, in Puerto excellent food and reasonably priced.

Weather was awful - it rained, heavily, every day for seven days. At least the rain was warm!

Holiday

In spite of the weather we had a good time, which is testament to the place and people.
