The month of February may still be wet in and around Port Louis, but the warm weather makes it a great place to visit when much of the globe is shivering in the midst of winter. Mont Choisy Beach

The beach consists of turquoise water and a three-kilometre stretch of white sand. Things To Do In Port Louis In February
For a look into the true life on the island, be sure to visit the Central Market. Complete with vegetables, meat, dry goods and souvenirs there is plenty to see and do. While some goods may be expensive, try to haggle with the vendor to see if you can score a better deal. Even if you don't need to purchase anything, it is still a sight to see.
February is a slightly drier month than January in Port Louis with 198mm of precipitation expected. As a result, now may be a good time to visit the UNESCO World Heritage location of Aapravasi Ghat. This is the site where the British government decided to begin using indentured labour to replace slaves to work in the sugar plantations. A visit to the site is a lesson in the early history of the region.
