July is the middle of summer is therefore a month that is ideal for swimming and sun bathing with fewer concerns about bad weather affecting plans.

If that isn't enough, Newquay and the surrounding area offer alternative ways to enjoy yourself in the warm weather.

The middle of the month sees Stithians Agricultural Show, which is an annual event bringing in more than 20,000 people. The Stithians Agricultural Show has a plethora of events, including a cage bird show, cattle show, craft stalls, dog show, domestic area including crafts, cookering and photography, evening concert, goat show and fairground, as well as a pigeon show, poultry show, churches and countryside area and even a vintage and classic steam show.

If that isn't enough to satisfy you, the Budweiser K Festival takes place in late July, a famous music concert featuring some of the hottest bands at the moment.

July is the perfect opportunity to unwind and take in some exciting events in Newquay and the surrounding areas, and with few worries about what the weather will be doing there's no reason not to take advantage of everything taking place.

A great place to stay if you want to spend time on the beach, taking advantage of the different water sports on offer is The Hotel.
