What's the Weather like in Miami in October
Visiting Miami in the summer months means you can expect a lot of very hot and humid weather. October is no exception, with temperatures soaring and rain falling heavily. This all combines to raise the humidity levels, so prepare to feel very warm indeed!
The average daily temperature for this month is a very respectable 25°C, with highs going all the way up to 28°C and lows down to 22°C. The main heat of the sun is reduced from what you would have experienced between July and September, but summer is certainly not done yet.
You will still find 8 hours of sun a day to enjoy, all of which certainly serves to heat up the sea.
In fact, the average daily sea temperature is 28°C, so there are likely to be days when the sea is actually warmer than the air which has to be a great sensation for your skin! Make sure to take advantage of this and go for a swim.
Look out for storm warnings, however, as the tropical storms and hurricanes often pass through the area at this time of year. Rain is at its annual peak this month with an average of 234mm of water falling, resulting in around 16 wet days. That's half the month! If you are planning to do a lot of outdoor activities, you will need to keep an eye on the weather forecast to avoid getting rained on.
This part of the USA is a very popular destination throughout the summer, so even in spite of the threat of stormy weather, you can expect the city to be busy with visitors.
