  • Silver Anniversary in Pollenca with our grown up daughters. It was fantastic. We had our Honeymoon in Port Pellenca and the place had changed dramatically but the locals still as friendly.

    The weather was extremely nice sunny days. We stayed in a Villa Plus property which was lovely. The pool wasn't heated so it was best to take a dip between...

What's The Weather Like In Majorca In January?

Is Majorca Warm In January? 

The first month of the year is one of the coldest months to visit MajorcaBalearic Islands, when the average temperature is just 10°C. During this time of year, highs of up to 15°C are common, falling down to lows of 5°C after dark.

January 2018 was still a gloriously sunny month, with only one day of prominent cloud cover. January 2017 followed a similar pattern, with a couple of days of rainfall. The top average temperature was 13°C.

January 2020 - Storm Gloria

On 20 January 2020 Storm Gloria ravaged parts of Spain and the Balaeric Islands. 13 people died in the extreme weather surge that caused windespread flooding and and swept away roads. A foot of snow also fell, triggering a rare red weather alert. The ferocious weather saw winds of more than 90mph and waves reached more than 8 metres along the coastline of south-eastern  Spain.

Majorca Beach for January
