Christmas Markets – Bardolino, Riva del Garda, and Arco 🏪

Presepi sul Lago (Nativity Scenes on the Lake) 🗓
Dozens of nativity scenes are displayed along the waterfront and inside churches. Torri del Benaco’s floating nativity, set on a pier, is particularly famous. The exhibition attracts thousands of visitors each year for its craftsmanship and serene lakeside setting.

Falò della Befana – Bardolino and Lazise 🗓
Across Lake Garda, communities light large bonfires on the evening of Epiphany. In Bardolino and Lazise, locals gather by the lake to watch the burning of effigies symbolising the old year. Mulled wine, roasted chestnuts, and music create a warm, festive atmosphere.
