Gorgeous hot sunny days with the odd thundery storm clouds gathering and breaking in the late afternoon, The air is cleared and the heat returns - beautiful. Occasionally the stormy weather persists into the evenings and sometimes there are full rainy days but it is still hot - a great excuse to sit on your terrace and catch up on some reading with a bottle of chang.

Holiday

Stayed at Centara for last 7 years in Au Nang
total R & R lovely food in local bars and restaurants. Excellent sunset walks from one end of Au Nang beach to the other with stop at Last Fishermans. Sea swimming, boat trips to islands and round to Raily. We keep on returning because nowhere else can deliver.

Places Recommended

Railly beach, beach front restaurants in au nang, Last Fisherman's bar. Take ferry from Noparat Pier for day trips.

Weather

We had some rain at the beginning of our stay in July. After that the weather was good. It was very hot and humid but comfortable. We went to Koh Lanta for a day trip but the weather was bad there. A lot of rain and rather windy.

Holiday

It is a fabulous place but in July the sea was a bit rough. We did some boat trips but didn't go to Phi Phi Island. We rented a villa that had a really big pool so it was ok. We chose the villa from the website; www.KrabiVilla.com. I would recommend this company because they have top quality villas at the very best prices. Everything is included in their rates (no bad surprises) and the service is 5 star. The villa was is 2.5 km from the beach but the transfers are free as much as you want.

Railay beach, last cafe and the cute monkeys, carnivore cafe, Tatoo cafe for English breakfast, tha lane for mangrove cayak. We had 2 hours of Thai massage at the villa everyday.
