March sees the peak tourism period in Jamaica begin to draw to a close.
Throughout this month though, the fabulous weather continues.
Expect nothing but hours of sunshine and baking heat; the Caribbean heat makes Jamaica the ideal place to visit for any sun worshippers looking to escape the colder climates at home.
With that being said, the chances are that you're going to want to be spending as much time as possible spread out on the beach enjoying the great weather and the miles of white sand, making sure you go home with a healthy tan.
At the weekends, the beaches become party central too, so you can spend your days lying out in the sun and your evenings dancing under the stars, next to the sea. With plenty of bars, eateries and stalls nearby, you'll never have to stray far from the shore.
And it's not just good for sunbathing. The Jamaican beaches are an ideal place if you want to try out any water sports. If you're a novice, worry not as professional instructors are on hand to give lessons to all those new to the sports who want to give it a go.
