Kemer is a beach holiday resort located on the Mediterranean coast of Turkey in the beautiful Turkish Riviera. The small but bustling resort is just 40km from the city of Antalya and is backed by the stunning Taurus Mountains.

As you would expect from its location, Kemer has a typically Mediterranean climate with summers that are long, hot and sunny and winters that are mild but pleasant.

Things really begin to heat up in Kemer in June, as summer gets into full swing. This is the start of peak tourist season, when holiday makers flock here to soak up the sunshine and enjoy the fabulous beaches that the resort has to offer.

The average temperature is around 24°C, though highs can reach a sweltering 30°C during the day, which can feel very hot indeed. Beachgoers love this weather, especially since the ocean breeze cools things off a little and never allows the air to feel its true temperature. Temperatures stay consistently great throughout the whole day, with night time lows dropping to just 18°C, which is still more than warm enough for an evening stroll or al fresco dining.

The average sea temperature has almost reached its peak, at a balmy 24°C. The water is extremely warm, allowing anyone to take a dip in the Mediterranean waters comfortably.

As summer arrives, the weather in Kemer dries up completely and tourists can expect mostly dry and clear weather throughout their stay. June sees just 11mm of rainfall during the month, which results in just 3 wet days on average. There's just a 6% chance of a rainy day.

One of the biggest draws to Kemer is the abundance of sunshine that bathes the resort all year round. June is one of the sunniest months and sees 13 beautiful hours of sunshine every day.
