Weather
For five days there was a fluke heatwave and we sunbathed on the beach in April.
Holiday
We stayed at Blossom View at St Ouens. Very comfortable with a welcome pack included. We visited Sark and went on a tractor and horse and cart, went to see the animals at Durrell Park and on a steam train at the transport museum. Great for families. Romantic for couples. Wheelchair friendly.
Places Recommended
Jersey War tunnels, Durrell Park, Steam Transport Museum, castle ruins North west during sunset, best beaches Greve de Lecq- like paradise, St Brelades. Best eateries Prince of Wales at Greve de Lecq, The Forge near Plemont Bay used by locals rather tucked away, Trinity Arms near Boulay Bay. Best chippy was East of island near a castle.

Weather
The weather was great, we just missed the rain.
A nice cool breeze on the coast is welcome after the blazing sun in the town.
Holiday
The Island is beautiful, the people are so laid back and friendly.
The Liberty bus service is fantastic all the bus drivers are friendly and helpful.
We bought day tickets for 7 pounds each and went all over the place, most journeys are 1.80 pounds they are on time too!
The restaurants are excellent quick and efficient and around the same price you would pay at home.
Our guest house was on the coast with a short walk into St Helier or short bus ride.
Places Recommended
The war tunnels are a must, it really brings home what the islanders went through and their resilience and good humour.
Durrell Wild Life Park if you like animals, the work they are doing there is excellent, the flamingos were the highlight for me.
