What's the Weather like in Grand Cayman in June

Temperature

Air temperatures are on a slight rise in Grand Cayman and other Cayman Islands in June when compared to May. Average lows in this period are 27C (80.6F). Morritt's Resorts is a 4-star complex, located in the northeastern corner of East End. This luxury resort comprises a few hotels that access a white-sand beach. Beaches for June for Grand Cayman

Beaches along the Grand Cayman coastline are popular for many reasons. In addition to experiencing sunrises and waiting sunsets, they are ideal for a wide range of activities. Snorkeling, partying and a horse riding are just a few of them.

Gun Bay Beach

Gun Bay Beach is located on the eastern side of East End. It usually isn't crowded and has magnificent, shallow turquoise waters. The beach features soft, white sand. Gun Bay Beach is more suitable for a short stay since it doesn't have restrooms available.

South Sound Beach

South Sound Beach is near George Town, hence it tends to get sometimes crowded. But, if you prefer calm waters for your activities, this beach will be ideal for you. South Sound Beach is a big sandy beach, located near a cemetery. Restrooms aren't available here.

Cemetery Beach

Cemetery Beach, which is a part of more famous Seven Miles Beach, is a paradise for snorkeling. Located in West Bay, this popular beach features shallow waters and white sand. It has a lot of shade, but lacks restrooms.

Catch Restaurant & Lounge

Catch Restaurant & Lounge is a reputable eatery, located in Morgan's Harbor, on the West Bay's east coast. From this waterfront restaurant, you can enjoy the views of North Sound while having seafood specialties. The restaurant prepares the catch that is freshly caught, as well as local produce. Besides a wide selection of fish and seafood dishes, this fine dining venue has an extensive offer of cocktails, wines and beers. Catch is open daily from 11:30 am until 1 am on weekdays, midnight on Saturday, and 11 pm on Sunday.

Czech Inn Grill

Czech Inn Grill is a mid-range restaurant in Bodden Town. According to reviews of their guests, they serve delicious burgers, salads, and sandwiches. By the looks of their menu, the restaurant prepares certain European, American and Asian specialties. Czech Inn Grill is open Tuesday to Sunday. Opening hours are from 11 am until 10 pm (Tue-Thu), 11 pm (Fri-Sat) and 7:30 pm (Sunday).

Eagle Ray's Dive Bar & Grill

Eagle Ray's Dive Bar & Grill is a mid-range restaurant, located on Austin Conolly Dr road, East End. The eatery overlooks the Caribbean Sea and is set in a verdant environment. Lionfish is one of the specialties of the house, and Eagle Ray's organizes Lionfish BBQ evenings on Mondays. The Divers Buffet Dinner takes place on Wednesday evenings. The restaurant is open daily from 11:30 am to 9:30 pm.

Hemingway's

Hemingway's is an upscale dining venue, facing popular Seven Miles Beach near Camana Bay. The restaurant serves exotic Asian-style specialties, such as Teriyaki Glazed Salmon and Wagyu Beef Tataki. Sakes and craft cocktails are on offer, too. Hemingway's is open daily from 11 am to 11 pm.

Things to Do in Grand Cayman in June

Grand Cayman is the largest of the Cayman Islands, but it is not very big at all. Nevertheless, it boasts many attractive points of interest, which makes this island a perfect destination for exploring. Albeit most popular places for tourists are points of interest located along the Grand Cayman coastline, there are attractions deeper inland that you should visit, too.

Queen Elizabeth II Botanic Garden

Queen Elizabeth II Botanic Garden is one such attraction, combining elements of Caribbean colonial and Caymanian architecture. There, you can examine various floral species, see Blue Iguanas (best on sunny mid-mornings) and have a picnic by a nearby lake. Furthermore, you can lay eyes on wildlife native to the Caribbean and rare aquatic birds. The botanic garden has the Green Globe certification.

Diving

Diving is one of the most rewarding experiences here. While you dive, you will get yourself acquainted with the outstanding diversity of the Grand Cayman resort's waters. You will see corals, sponges, turtles, rays and many other marine species, not to mention an occasional shipwreck. June is an ideal season for underwater activities here, so benefit the most of it.

Atlantis

If you prefer, however, to remain dry while exploring the bottom of the Caribbean Sea, join the Atlantis submarine tour.
