Golf del sur, Canary Islands: Average Review Ratings

Weather

The weather this year in 2015 was not as good as it has been on previous visits to the area in February. Quite windy on occasions [expected at this time of year] but rather than the usual endless sun/blue skies there was a lot of cloud and some evenings did get a little cooler [approx 15c] Daytime temperatures ranged from 19c - 21c. Much warmer than the UK at this time of year but we have known it to be warmer [20 - 24c]

Holiday

Our holiday was still really good . Golf del sur is a quieter resort with lovely walks along the sea front .

The resort is excellent for golfers and also bowlers as there are several golf courses and a really nice bowling green at Winter Gardens
San blas is where you find shops,bars and restaurants.

Places Recommended

Whilst in Golf del Sur you can walk to Los Abrigos , a lovely fishing village or take the frequent bus to Los Abrigos and El Medano with its nice beach one way or Los Cristianos , Las Americas in the other direction
Siam Park in Las Americas is a must if you have children.

Weather

We visit the area twice a year in November and January through to March. We have done this for the past eight years and the weather is great. Normally daytime it is between 19 to 23 degrees, and evenings it is normally around 14 degrees.

Holiday

Always have a great time, the entertainment is very good and of high quality in the bars. Golf del Sur is very relaxing without all the noise of the nearby resorts and therefore will suit the upper end of the age groups.
