Disneyworld Weather August Averages, USA
August is one of the hottest and most humid months of the year at Walt Disney World, with an average temperature of 28°C and humidity of 60% at around 1pm. On a very hot day temperatures can reach a maximum of 33°C, whilst on a cooler day temperatures decrease to an average minimum of 23°C. However, even with all this hot weather August receives on average 171mm of rainfall throughout the whole month and afternoon storms are very common. All though, August still receives a lot of sunshine throughout the month, with an average of nine hours per day.
At the beginning of August the crowds tend be very busy, but if you decide to visit close to the end of the month the crowds start to decrease a lot more as American schools go back to normal. August is also officially in the height of the hurricane season, however a vast majority of travelers still flock here during the summer months as it's rare for hurricanes to severely effect Disney World.
Things to do
A great way to cool down from the hot and humid weather is to go to Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park. Disney's All-Star Sports Resort is a value resort hotel located in Disney's Animal Kingdom Area. Each room is brightly coloured and dedicated to one of the featured sports on offer such as American football, basketball and tennis.
