Weather
Started off wet on first day but became brighter and very hot by day 3.
Have been in August and weather can be just as changeable but at least sea was warm,
Bloody freezing in May/June hence wet suits being packed this year!!!!
Holiday
Callella is lovely and v welcoming.
Get up early and take a stroll into the town and along the beaches, you can often be the only one about (except for the man who empties the bins who has his breakfast on the rocks!!!)
Its quite surreal and you will wish your 6 numbers come up so you can buy one of the quaint beach front properties. We stayed at la Sieasta in a mobile and the kids had a ball, 2 girls 9 and 10, didn't know we had them.
Places Recommended
Pals, quaint old town.
La Franc, wear pedal pushers and a head scarf and you could be Grace Kelly...its the Spanish riviera.
The Botanical Gardens are fab.
Palafrugell town on market day,
Last Sat in May is Carnival day and boy do they know how to throw a carnival.
