August being August as expected was too hot. We had no choice due to school holidays. Will look at returning in May or September.

Holiday

Very relaxing. Enjoyed the friendliness of the people, both residents and visitors. The train service is excellent so you don't need a car to get around.

Places Recommended

"Mim" for excellent tapas and Mexican food. "Monsoon Beach" for excellent all-round food choice and especially their curries. Staff at both very friendly. We also enjoyed an Italian meal at "Oscars".

We were in Calafell in May this year due to family commitments. Weather was not as good as normal. It was mid May before it really got warm.

Holiday

Calafell was very quiet in early May but it started getting busy towards the end of the month. We had a very enjoyable holiday as usual. It was great to catch up with some of the residents with whom we have become friends. We used Villa service in Segur to book our holiday, as usual they looked after us very well..

The weather in Calafel was very good and starts to get very hot at the end of June.
Calafel gets very busy in July and August

Holiday

Calafel is a quiet resort and if you are looking for nightlife go elsewhere. We have going to Calafel for the past 7 years and it is the peace and beaches that keep us coming back.
Great appartments from Villa service at reasonable prices. We stay at Mesol 1 in Segur de Calafel

Try and be there for Fiesta San Juan, it is great ??
Barbeque on the beach.
All the families go to the beach.
