BRILLIANT!Holiday
Went with superbreak Hull to Zeebrugge.Hotel Academie, central location. Had to get taxi from station otherwise would never have found it, within easy walking distance of station with cases on return. Went to Ostend on train, very efficient service, took about 15 mins and cost 7 euros return. Lovely promenade, nice shops and harbour.
Had a horse and cart ride which you get from the main square, lots of things pointed out but expensive at 36 euros plus tip. Went on boat trip round canals, about 6 euros, this was good value and again got lots of info. Big rip off was bus tour 15 euros each suppose would be o.k if weather bad.
Places Recommended
Loads of eating places, in the square a bit pricey, went to La Belle Vue. Also went to T'minnewater 2 mins from hotel, again a good meal. There was a lot of set menus so you can have a weigh up before you choose.Recommend Bruges to others
