Weather
Bangkok is one of the hottest places in Asia, during the rain season, high temperatures results in high humidity and this can be very uncomfortable for Europeans.Best to plan your travel for your trips for example use of the Air conditioned BTS, Bangkok train Service, to avoid the unpleasantness.
I have spent time in Bangkok throughout the seasons and enjoy November to April. Dry, hot and not too humid.
Holiday
Thailand is a fantastic place to go, with everything for everyone.Great beaches in the south, lakes and mountains in the north.
Weather is hot all year, during the monsoon season rainfall every day can be expected.
The people are welcoming and friendly to Europeans, yes they know you bring money to their society but welcome is still in their nature.
The food is diverse and fantastic, if you like it spicy or not, up to you.
I love the atmosphere, food, weather, people, and culture.
Places Recommended
If you like beaches, best in the south and on the islands, for example, Koh Chang.Bangkok is always worth a visit, but plan your trips, its a busy, busy place and transport by road is slow so best to use the sky trains (BTS).
Chang Mai and Chang Rai in the north are great places to visit but it is best to fly from Bangkok or face a 15 hour bus journey.
