It's a superb old harbour and there's lots to see and do as Scarborough is only 30 minutes away and Robin Hood's Bay- 5 miles away. We go all the time for a camping holiday. Great; even if sometimes it rains, it's a lovely, lovely place and well worth a visitHoliday

The abbey ruins are fab; Bram Stoker wrote 'Dracula' while staying there overlooking the harbour and abbey. Fish and chips are a must and fishing off the pier etc too. Lovely old shops and lots too browse through.Recommend Whitby to others
