Coming from England we absolutely adore animals and today me and my boyfriends whole family including a 2&3 year old witnessed a 5 week old puppy dying on the side of the road so we got it some water and the apparent owner of the puppy who was about 14/15 came over so we told him to feed it and get it some water every hour and take it to the vets because it was clearly in pain he was very rude and told us to go away and as soon as we went away we heard a yelp turned around and he was absolutely smacking the hell out of this little puppy it was horrific we told the police and they didn’t care we tried getting a vet or rspca number from the reception and they laughed in our faces which in my eyes is disgusting considering we aren’t used to that kind of situation and was clearly traumatised by the whole thing it has absolutely ruined mine and boyfriends holiday so if you like animals stay away as this was on the main strip in broad daylight as children were passing
He didn’t need to give the dog any attention all’s we asked is that he gave the puppy some water and instead he beat that puppy to death in front of me and a 2&3 year old.

Definitely good weather is in the first dates of septmber. I'ts not too hot, average temperature. But in summer months is also good. We had been there in august and no problems with weather.

I liked so kind and funny atmosphere in Sunny Beach. Also clean beach and sea. The biggest beach in Sunny has deserved an a Blue Flag in sign of the cleanness.
There you'll be able to enjoy a bulgarian traditional food in not expensive restaurants. In addition i recommend you to stay not in hotel. The reason is low level of service. Bulgarian hotels service is not same as for example in Turkey and Egypt. We accepted a solution to refrain and reserve a flat. We had founded a good flat close the sea on VPUT service - https://vput.ru/?lang=en , like airbnb but has more offers in Bulgaria. It was very cheap and comfortable to live in modern flat. Price for a one night was 25$. But you can find cheaper on the vput site.

The weather was amazing.
Getting up each morning and seeing the sun made this holiday worth every penny.

This will be our tenth year and only had bad weather one of them - generally you need to go end of May at the earliest or no later than start of September for good weather.

Holidays was great, there's lots to do trips etc great aqua park for kids even big daft ones and beaches nice and clean too.

Unfortunately the weather was horrendous, not the normal expectation for Sunny Beach.

If the weather hadn't of been as bad as it was as well as a series of unfortunate circumstances, we would of had a great time like we allways do at Sunny Beach.

Nesserbar is quite nice and also Khan Tent is a must while you are there. The gypsy market is also an eye opener.

We have been for four years running and the weather has always been fantastic in June.

Holiday really good, lots to do with trips to go on and good restaurants, lots of cheap shops. I am going back again in June this year and can't wait.

Would definitely recommend Nessebar, Sozopol, Khans tent show with good entertainment and lovely meal, will be returning again this June.

Balkan Jeep Safari. The dolphins show at Varna.

Also Sliven where we went to a village had lunch and went to the Blue Mountains and went on a chair lift which was excellent.

God bless we were only 4 days, bad services, bad hotel exectly hotel complex astra is big lie- it is horrible and very poor, on the promenada is too loud music, ares for naive people not for families.

Nearby is nessebar- very clean place,cultural places, and then town VArna is better like sunny beach, there are a lot od hotels outside centre with facilities for sports - fitness equipments directly on the beach on the cycleroad for inline skating.

Sadly it rained a lot, however we did have three good days out of seven of red hot sun shine and even when it rained it was warm.

The food was good, the people were friendly and as it was my first visit I can say I was pleasantly surprised. I would come again , but may be a little later in the year to guarantee sun shine.

Sunny Beach is beautiful,very clean. It's been the best holiday by far and I've been going on holiday with my friend for the past five years. The sand is so fine and the sea very clear, water is lovely and warm.

Nessebar is a must, full of beautiful history with lots of local culture shops. The restaurants sit on top of the village which overlooks the beautiful sea... breathtaking views, cant wait to go back... booked up for 2010 for 14 days... beautiful country.

We went for two weeks, the weather was very good, hot and sunny with the temperature in the high 20's apart from one cloudy day.

We had a great holiday in sunny beach, we have been twice before. We stayed at Sun Village appartments which were very nice with a large pool, about 10mins walk to the beach and resort centre, the Aqua park was only a 5 mins walk.

I would highly recommend Djannys and Condor restaurants both had good food and service. The aqua park and Nessebar were also good days out.

I am a Bulgarian who has lived abroad for a number of years now. I have an apartment in Sunny Beach and even though I am having constant problems with the poor quality of the building works and the lack of proper management of the site I still love the place (and it's quite cheap in comparison with all the other summer resorts around Europe!).

The coast and the weather are simply unbeatable and the night life (which I as a real Bulgarian love) is great. Some people are complaining about the noise but that never bothers me or my family even though I have a young daughter. Hope this helps.

I have an apartment in Sunny Beach and was there for the first time in 2008 from 5 July until 14 September. The weather during that time was fabulous it got up to over 100 degrees and had to say in apartment for 3 days to stay out of the sun. Did have deluge of rain 3 times during the night but it was welcome in order to freshen the air. I believe after the 14 September it rained for a full 2 weeks, so maybe people should think about going eaqrlier in the year.

There is loads of things to do. Plenty of nightlife, especially for the young crowd.
Loads of bars, nightclubs and restaurants.

Weather was not good had only 3 days of sun and the rest it rained needed coats and jumpers at night it was so cold that i wor a jumper for bed.

Sunny beach was a nice place there is a some good things to do like hiring a golf buggy but you need to shop about for the best price :we payed 20 Lev but a lot were charging 30 and 40 Lev
There are lots of restaurants and bars but the food is'nt good.but thats only my opinion.

We had 3 days of sun(approx 5hrs per day)rest of week was dull cold and very wet,
Even had a thunderstorm,which to the locals the weather is normal like English weather.
Coats and jumpers needed.
Night were like at home.
Only thing that spoiled the holiday was the Sunny Beach weather.

Hotel was lovely (Chaika hotel.)
Would return. has 2 bars 1 is a smokers haven,no entertainment but think this is in all Bulgarian hotels. Brochure stated most rooms sea view but this is'nt true. Cleaned everyday.
Food was what is expected at a buffet.
Could'nt do it for 2 weeks though. when checking in your bags are taken up to room but a tip is waited for,make sure you have small notes!
If using a courtesy room I suggest you pay to keep room on as it has only a bathroom and seating area, no sockets for hair appliances, fine for the blokes.
Expect to pay for using toilets in bars and when eating out. This is 0.50lev. but this keeps them clean etc

On the one day it did rain the skies opened it poured rain and a few hours later you would not even have known it had rained.

Brilliant holiday lots to see and do you can go on boat trips to bordering countries ie turkey for next to nothing.
Food and drink is really cheap but absolutely delicious.

D Jannys restaurant is a place you have to go to.
The food was gorgeous ate there almost every nite the portions are huge and the service is fast.
Expect to q outside for up to half an hour during peak times but its well worth the wait.
