Whats the Weather Like in Stockhom in February

Things to Do in Stockholm in February


Located in Djurgården, Skansen is the oldest open-air museum in the world. The museum recounts Swedish history in miniature. Additionally, Skansen houses a zoo where numerous animals native to Scandinavia reside. Swedish traditions like Walpurgis Night, Lucia and Midsummer are celebrated at Skansen.

Royal Palace of Stockholm

Near the Old Town, visitors can visit the marvellous Royal Palace of Stockholm during their holiday in February. This is one of the largest palaces in Europe, the official residence of the King of Sweden and the setting of most of the official royal receptions. Consisting of more than 600 rooms, the Royal Palace is open to the public. Highlights include the Royal Apartments, the Treasury, Gustav III's Museum of Antiquities and the Tre Kronor Museum.
