Fabulous weather. Hot and sea was warm.
Every day was sunny and the evenings were warm too

A lovely sunbathing relaxing holiday, in beautiful surroundings.Did not want nightlife, just walked out for a meal at night and drink..Then back to our apartments, perhaps one at the bar , then a drink on our balcony sat in the lovely warm night air.

Zygos bar on the main beach road. Wonderful people who own it . Beer really good. Spotless clean too.

Had a fabulous holiday at Michelanis last year and have booked again for September this year. Yianni is great, really helpful and cannot do enough to make your stay really enjoyable.

pool area lovely and clean and bar at the front of the apartments with large satellite tv. Position right in the centre of Stalis near all bars and restaurants the apartments are set back so no noise from the street. There are many restaurants to choose from but we found Dianomos the best for great service and good value for money. Free sunbeds if you have breakfast!.

We arrived in torrential rain that went on for hours.

For the next 10 days the weather was quite mixed, quite a lot of cloud.

In the sun it was really warm but in the cloud (especially with the breeze on the beach) it felt rather chilly!

Went in June 4 years ago and it was so different. There was no breeze at all, it was clear sunshine and for someone who loves the sun and heat, it was unbearably hot as Greece was having a heatwave!

Fab holiday overall. Great resort with long sandy beach, lots of shops and excellent seafront restaurants.

Best restaurants were Knossos, Jannis Golden Heart and Minos.

Just perfect. Warm days and nights, blue sea and cloudless skies. I liked it better than July or
August because it was not too hot.

very relaxing and fun. I chose to do some exploring and enjoyed it immensely. Had a good time at the terrace of my hotel on the beach.

Visit Mohos, Krassi. Enjoy sunset views from Christiana Beach -nice pool bar too, friendly barmen. Eat at Marazakis tavern at Kera village, best pork ever. Rent a car and get away from the crowds. Avoid all- inclusive hotels, choose mid-size beach hotels to save money and explore the locality.

Had a great time. Lots to do on the island itsself. There was a tourist info place down the road from were we were staying, so we could book days out with them. Also its easy to hire out your own transport and drive to some of the more traditional towns.

Recommend to stay at the Stefania apartments run by Maria and her son Yhianni. They make you feel right at home. Also take a trip to the town of Mohos, a very old town, and also to Sisi, it has a lovely cove to swim in.
