The weather for Shark's Bay, Egypt in September begins to taper off for the first time all year. This of course just means the heat will not be extreme, but still very warm. For homemade Egyptian fare head to Mona Mama, found in Dahab. It is a great concept as there is no menu, items served changes daily based on the local ingredients available that day. Some options that one could expect are beef casserole, kebabs and oven-baked potatoes. One thing you can count on is the delicious pita bread and hummus.
