April can be a wonderful time of the year to visit Sa Coma. Temperatures are on a steady rise and now is a great time to visit the summer crush. All hotels and restaurants are starting to reopen or wrap up any construction projects and all sites should be open to the public. If Spain is a destination of choice, now is a great time to see what the region offers.

Sea Temperature

After three months of steady sea surface temperatures, water just off the coast are experiencing their first warming trend of the year. It is not a huge jump from the prior months, but warmer water is just around the corner.

As the seasons continue to transition from winter into spring, the average amount of monthly rainfall remains fairly steady. During this time of the year, the region receives an average of 39mm. This is slightly higher than the previous month. While the amount of rain has gone up, the number of wet days has gone down. On average, the month receives precipitation on just 11 days of the month.

As a result, most of the month is dry and welcoming to visitors. Additionally, the number of sunshine hours is also higher. The region will experience an average of 10 hours of sunshine per day for the month.

On land, temperatures continue a steady march toward the hottest numbers of the year. During the month, the average daily temperature is a warmer 14°C (57°F). The average overnight low for this time of year is a cool 8°C (48°F). However, once the sun comes out, temperatures will begin to quickly rise and eventually top out at an average high of 19°C (66°F). While visitors will still need a jacket in the early morning hours, a long sleeve shirt should suffice later in the day.
