Protaras Hotels for February
Whilst staying in a hotel may give you many amenities and facilities, there are also several perks to staying in an apartment complex. Here you will find the same facilities, such as swimming pools, and on-site restaurants, however you will have a more home-from-home kind of feel to your accommodation, which fits in wonderfully with the laid-back atmosphere in Protaras during the mild month of February.
Palm Village Soustis Apartments are a great four star choice, situated just a few minutes' walk from the nearest beach, with a bus stop right outside your door, making getting around the resort easy.
If you want something a little more exclusive, why not try Maria Villa, situated in Pernera, just outside of Protaras. This is a private villa which has all the mod-cons you need, decorated in a modern, bright manner, giving you a refreshing backdrop to your holiday during this quieter time.
Of course, on the other hand if you want to be truly pampered and enjoy the romantic month of February as a couple then the five star Constantinos The Great Beach Hotel is for you, with more facilities and perks than you will ever need.
Bars and Restaurants
Because most restaurants close during the winter months, you won't have the same plethora of choice when it comes to your special Valentine's Day meal, or indeed an evening meal any day of the month. However, most hotels which are open at this time of year will certainly cater for your holiday needs, and the Constantinos The Great Beach Hotel has plenty of choice when it comes to eateries, including the Emperor restaurant, with its wide range of international food, and the Sea Breeze Beach Bar.
Be sure to try some authentic cuisine whilst you're in Protaras, including grilled halloumi as a starter, and perhaps kleftiko, a delicious dish of lamb, which is cooked for around 24 hours in a clay pot, infused with spices. Delicious!
