Things to do in Protaras in February
February is of course the month of love, with Valentine's Day occurring during the early part of the month. Cyprus is home to the birthplace of Aphrodite, the Goddess of Love, so why not celebrate this special day by hiring a car and heading off to Paphos, just over two hours' drive along the coastline. You'll see some amazing scenery on the way, and the mild temperatures make this drive certainly very pleasant. Paphos is home to Aphrodite's Rock, the reputed birthplace of this special goddess.
If you prefer to stay in Protaras then you will no doubt want to head to the beach during those sunny and warm days. Fig Tree Bay is Protaras' most popular beach, and the scenery here is wild and beautiful. There are many hotels which overlook this part of town, meaning a wander to the beach is very easy indeed.
