Travelled on 5th Sept 2009 and was absolutely glorious all week, one slight black cloud late one afternoon but other than sunshine and hot all week.
Holiday
Went to Porto Colom 19 years ago and it hasnt changed, its still relaxing peaceful and laid back.
No discos, no late night bars.
Es Corso apartments clean, staff helpful and friendly. Would recommend to anyone who wants to sit by the pool and watch the world go by, and getting a tan doing so!
Cala Marsal beach exceptional.
Self Catering and places we ate were all really good.

Caves of Drach, a must if you havent been.

Weather
Weather cooler and you could spend more time in the sun with adequate sun protection. Temperatures are in the low 20s and because it was the end of the season you can expect wind and possibly rain.
Holiday
Nice and peacefull apart from ill mannered British. Hotel and food superb. Porto colom is a small resort and normally closes down about the last 2 weeks in October so any hotel which is still open, you get more personal service.
Places Recommended
Any place is worth a visit when travelling abroad as it is a different culture and possibly the one and only time you will be there. The holiday destinations are numerous.
