    Playacar Weather for February 2022

What's the Weather like in Playacar in March

The purpose built resort of Playacar on the Yucatan Peninsula in Mexico has two distinct sections, catering to different tastes. Phase 1 features 5-star hotels and quality beaches close to the Playa del Carmen nightlife and shopping districts, while Phase 2 is home to one of the region's most famous and most challenging golf courses. Temperatures start to rise in March as the 'winter' months are left behind and the spring approaches.

The average temperature for this month is 2 degrees higher than February, averaging 25°C (about 77°F). The lows drop down to a still-warm 22°C (around 71°F), while the highs get up to 29°C (about 84°F). The daytime air feels warm enough for short-sleeves, shorts and flip flops and maybe even tank tops for the hottest part of the day. You might still want a light jacket or sweater at night especially when outside or on the beach.

    Average Sunshine Hours

Expect about 10 hours of sunshine a day this month, providing lots of opportunities to get outside. Bring along the hat and sunglasses, as well as sunscreen, to protect your eyes and skin while you're outside enjoying the resort. The chance of a sunny day is 24 percent and the chance of a windy day on any given day is 22 percent.

With rainfall at just 41mm falling over 3 days, March is the driest time of the year for the resort. This, coupled with the lessening of the El Norte winds and warm sea temperatures, makes it a good time for relaxing on the beach. The ocean averages 26°C (about 79°F), pleasant enough to take a swim, try your hand at surfing or relax at the water's edge in the warm sand. During March you have just a 14 percent chance of seeing rain and a 5 percent chance of a cloudy day.
