Panama Canal is very pleasant to visit with high temperatures all year round, though during August you will find yourself deep into the wet season. If you like rain as well as hot sunshine, you will be just fine! How much rain are we talking? This also falls over 18 days, which means that more than half of the month is sure to be wet. You can still very much enjoy your holiday, however, and get a tan so do not panic!

This is local cuisine done to the highest standard, with presentation to the highest possible levels. After your meal, you can head to the rooftop bar; those who are feeling extravagant can enjoy breakfast here as well.

With the higher rainfall in August, it is perhaps better to try some activities that can be done indoors. The Panama Interoceanic Canal Museum is a good place to try, particularly if you have your family with you, as it is suitable for all ages. Here you will see exhibits which teach you all about the canal and its importance in the history of Panama. There are even plays and interactive exhibits which you can watch and enjoy!
