July sees tourists flock to the sand and shingle shores of Nice in search of a relaxing break mixed with a sprinkling of culture. The start of the summer holidays in July means that the city becomes much more crowded than previous months, so it's worth booking activities and restaurants in advance to avoid disappointment.
