April can perhaps be considered as the start of the summer season in Florida, as the weather starts to pick up again after a slight slump in the winter.

From this month onwards, temperatures start to soar but beware the humidity that comes with them. The weather in April is not too hot for a tour and you can look out for a little more movement from the alligators, so it's a good time of year to try it. If you are after a spot of culture, you can try the Olympia Theatre. This theatre has been entertaining residents and visitors since the 1920s, and you can catch a show by heading to their box office for tickets. They show films, music concerts, talks, live productions, and more.
