  • palma nova resort

    Review by: Tony Rudd

    Weather

    July/August - perfect 33 degrees.

    Holiday

Excellent, we had great time good for the kids too with plenty of water parks.
We loved the area.....cheap and plastic but good food, entertainment and solid working mans grog.
Lots of legs and handbags in the evening,
Magaluffe not for the faint hearted, but fun, if you don't get lost.

  • 18th Oct 09- 1wks holiday in majorca

    Review by: Rebecca Allen

    Weather

Weather was brilliant, only one wet day, average of 24C for the week, sometimes higher, cooler evenings but never less than 17C.
A lovely half term weeks holiday, pool use all week, but selected heated options.

    Holiday

A lovely week, highly recommended on the north coast.
Some lovely places to go and see.
We had a villa for one week with a heated pool and a pool table, ideal for the children.
    Peacefully set in Puerto Pollensa.
A lovely place to find sea front walks, shops and restaurants.

  • Our holiday in Majorca

    Review by: Anonymous

    Weather

We went 1st week in October 2006 and the weather was lovely.Just right for a toddler, warm enough to swim in Hotel pool but not too hot that she was botherd by it. 1 wet day in the week but brightened up by tea time.

    Holiday

Holiday was Fab, stayed at the Lagotel Playa da Muro just outside Alcudia. No complaints about the Hotel, very clean, more than 1 swimming pool to choose from, lots for children to do, courtesy bus to beach even though only 15 mins walk. Resort itself is small and quiet, didn't experience nightlife. Ideal for families, if you what to do a little more take a day trip.

  • Villa Holiday in mallorca

    Review by: Terry Collins

    Weather

not very hot ,but mostly sunny ,just not enough to use the pool at the villa ,it was end of season so to be expected

    Holiday

fanatstic - we hired a villa from james villas at Can Picafort ,called 'can pedro' ,rented a car and had lots of great days out - forget Magaluf . This island is stunningly beautiful you will find yourself saying 'wow' once an hour . get up in the mountains on the north coast road or visit porta pollensa ,or the streets ,beach and cathedral of palma ,the marina at porta nous with its quayside cafes/restaurants. the new aquarium in palma is a delight . dont miss out on going to pollensa ,it is so scenic it will take your breath away. we are going back in june this year to catch the better weather hopefully .the villa has its own fenced grounds with fig trees ,palms,an orange grove ,oh its wonderful. this year we will take the wooden train from soller and lots of other things we didnt cover last time . eating out is a must ,theres some great restaurants in can picafort - well everywhere ,just avoid the rubbishy tapas bars which are mallorcas 'fast food' outlets unless you have a particular passion for it it can be a gamble on quality .its not a cheap place to visit but its not heaving with 'kiss me quick' holiday makers ,the shopping in palma is amazing ,all olde worlde back alleys and cobbles ,loverly sandstone buildings ,delightful garden squares, a fabulous beach and prom - check it out for yourself . so much nicer than mainland spain ,renting a car is essential and you can go anywhere on the island in an hour on very good roads ,take your sat nav

  • 2 weeks in hotel Hospes-Maricel

    Review by: Chris Wood

    Weather

The weather was fantastic during August last year. Not too hot and there was a lovely breeze from the sea to keep us cool. Forgot to mention the perfect blue sky throughout our 2 week stay!

    Holiday

Had a very nice time, the people are very friendly and welcoming. We stayed in a great hotel called Hospes Maricel, just outside Magaluf. It was fantastically decorated to modern standards and the staff were very helpful.

It was great to go touring the beaches and shops through the day then return to a lovely hotel and chill out by the infinity pool accompanied by a cocktail or two while the kids were being entertained elsewhere.
