Weather
The weather was mostly nice with periods of light rain. The wind was a bit more than I expected.
The temperatures were moderate but wearing a hat would be highly recommended.
A slicker (Raincoat) would be better than an umbrella.
Holiday
I spent 8 days in Llandudno.I was very impressed with the people there. Everyone was willing to help a traveler with any question I had.
The food was incredible (Fish and Chips across from the King's Head Pub and Tram was first rate!)
Walking the beach at low tide was fun. We got to look for all kinds of shells and the like.
The pier was nice and clean with all kinds of interesting things to look at and buy.
We visited the Great Orme - we took the Tram to the top and enjoyed the splendid scenery.
We went through the copper mine as well (just down the Orme) and I suggest everyone go and see it. It was well lit and informational.
Places Recommended
The Great Orme, The copper mine, the Pier, Conwy Castle (5 miles away) and all the surrounding sites.I suggest taking a guided tour on a bus. We took two tours (one to Chester and one to Snowdonia/Port Merion) *I apologize for my misspelling* and highly recommend it!
