Weather was warm without rain. Warm enough for us Northerners to swim outdoors comfortably.
Holiday
Stayed in the Hotel Excelsior Britannia in Cadenabbia. Lovely and varied food at all meals; good service and friendly staff.
Places Recommended
Bellagio, a resort across the Lake, is reached by car ferry and offers shops and restaurants of good quality and nice walks. Gardens are open to the public but little to do for children.
Boat trips on Lake.
Bus services are very good and of reasonable price. Town of Como and city of Milan are worth a visit however we felt that St Moritz is overrated.

Rainy on day one sunshine for rest of week nice not too hot as this area attracts the clouds.

Very good went on the Bernina express to St Moritz visited Lake Maggorie and Isolabella very pretty and a lake trip to bellagio.
We stayed at Grand Hotel Caddanabia in Caddanabia lovely hotel spotless good food,
Staff very helpful.would recommend.

The weather was lovely, between 25 and 30 degrees C the whole time.
We had sun nearly all the time except for an amazing electric storm which appeared from nowhere.
Holiday
We had a lovely relaxing holiday.
Amazing scenery, beautiful hotel and great people.
There is plenty to see and do although may be a bit restricted for children.
If you like busy holidays with nightlife and a fast pace this is not for you.

Bellagio was great for gifts.
The trip to Lugano in Switzerland was well worth it.
Lenno and Central Lake area is the jewel of Lake Como.

Weather
It rained a lot but usually in bursts and when the sun was out it was lovely. When it rained you just head for the nearest restaurant and have a carafe of lovely wine
Holiday
Very relaxing scenery is stunning, food and wine excellent, lots of little towns to visit up and down the lake.
