We were told it was the worst April/ may for 25 years! Cool, breezy, for about half our stay we had good afternoons and early evenings but overall disappointing. Guess what? The last two days were perfect!Holiday
perfect, quiet, tranquil, lovely atmosphere in the town, nice beach, clean. Good bus service to feungerola and Marbella. Local market weds and sat, tends to be cheaper on weds, however little shop near the church had a good range of hats, scarves and costume jewellery and we found it cheaper than the Market for these.Chinese supermarkets up the road directly opposite this shop, keep going it's 4 or 5 minutes, amazing range of stuff you may never need but good for toiletries and things you forgot to bring!

Exquisite, near tourist information, wide variety of food from basic pizza ( sorry haven't tried that) to steaks and pasta dishes. Prices vary considerably depending what you have, from cheap meal to pricy, your choice. Nest door to left as you look at it does 6 tapas and bottle of wine for16%u20AC, tasty. Down by the beach near the children's play area, the cafe with the railings around it does a dish of the day, and great coffee.Recommend La Cala to others
