    Things to do in Krabi in April

    Krabi is full of natural attractions, Pranang Cave being one of the best. Located on Phra Nang beach in Ao Nang, between the eastern and western beaches of Railay, this cave acts as a small tunnel between the two beaches. Winds are often very strong inside this cave which can sometimes make the five-minute walk through it a bit tough, but it's worth it for the chance to see the multicoloured stalactites and stalagmites within. The entire cave can be fully explored within 15 minutes, making it an interesting place to visit if you get fed up of sunbathing on the beach.

    For an open-air spa experience, visit the Saline Hot Spring. Situated in the south of Krabi in Klong Thom, this hot spring is made up of several natural pools which are full of water from thermal springs that originate in underground volcanic chambers. Since the pools take on the shape of smooth baths and the water is 35-42°C, it really is like an open-air spa. If the hot temperatures of the springs get a bit much for you, you can cool off in the river below. Basic changing facilities are available onsite, as well as a number of man-made pools for when the site is especially busy.
