Weather very good, plenty of sunshine
continuous NW breeze, evenings very warm, average daytime temps around 35c.

Holiday

We stayed at the Nikos studios overlooking the bay, a little overpriced for what they are. The locals are very friendly, the resort has a lovely and quiet sandy bay, there are three mini markets and I mean mini, just the bare essentials. There are enough Tavernas to eat at a different one every night, we found the best one to our taste was the Central Restaurant run by Spiros, the cooking was done by his Sister Sofia and the waiter was his nephew Manolis, who is also a physics teacher. In all a lovely resort for a relaxing holiday

Tour the Island by Scooter or jeep the roads are very good, visit the village of Olymbos accessible by car/jeep set out about 07.30, the road to the village is open between then and 09.00hrs and for the return trip between 12.00 and 13.00
If you are looking for nightlife, you have to go to the capital Pigadia
